Travel Tuesday: Vasquez Rocks
Burner babes @bridgetavildsen & @carlytway in the Cosmic Dust short set and the Heliocentric set
A quick hour drive north of Los Angeles is the beautiful Vasquez Rocks Natural Area Park. Part of the Sierra Pelona Mountains, this little piece of Mars was the site for our most recent Burning Man look book! These giant tilted rock formations were formed over 20 million years ago, go there to gawk at their beauty or to hike around. The views of the high desert are seriously spectacular on top of the rocks. Star Trek, the Flinstones and Buffy the Vampire Slayer were all filmed here, so make a fun day trip out of it if you're in the LA area! In the meantime, check out our festival styled look book our wolfpack shot last weekend!
The Fractal & Moonlight Mandala set are a perfect match to hit the Playa
Desert Must-Haves~ Totem heart, Goggles, the Cosmic Dust & the Heliocentric set
After a day of exploring the rocks, head down to the small charming town of Agua Dulce and grab a smoothie or some lunch to replenish yourself from a day in the sun! There's some beautiful vineyards nearby you can explore as well. Make sure you stop by The Gentle Barn, a beautiful farm sanctuary where they will teach you about kindness and compassion towards animals and our planet.
Stay warm at night by pairing the Mandala set with some faux fur boots!
Clip a reusable water bottle to your utility built & match it with the Moonlight Mandala print
