For February we are highlighting Candice as our Wolf of the Month. Inspired by her love for nature and passion for a sustainable future, Candice embodies everything that our Wolfpack stands for.
Where are you from, where do you live, and what do you do?
Hola mi gente, my name is Candice from Yonkers, NY. I spend my days working with international students preparing for a year abroad in the USA and am also a yoga instructor.
What led you to join the Wolfpack?
Wolven was one of the first sustainable brands I switched to during my transition and journey into a more conscious buying lifestyle. Once I purchased my first set and tried on my Wolvens - I had to find a way to share their products beyond my personal bubble - cut to… being in the Wolfpack.
What’s the best part about being a Wolven Ambassador for you?
I love our community - we are a diverse group of people all striving to be our best selves while feeling supported and heard. I love the Mighty Networks connection - it gives all of us one space to chat about sustainability, fashion, health and wellness.
What’s the best part about being a Wolven Ambassador for you?
Currently obsessed with the Racerback Bra and Crisscross Pocket Legging. (Chai is my favorite color)
How does wearing Wolven make you feel?
Personally, Wolven makes me feel sleek and supported
What does sustainability mean to you?
Sustainability is conscious choosing - it is making the small decisions to replace or repurpose an item's longevity of life.
When or where do you feel most connected to nature?
I am most connected to nature when I am camping or backpacking. I absolutely love challenging myself to be out with the rawness of nature. Many of my life lessons have been discovered out in the wilderness.
What inspires you?
What drives my fire is watching other people succeed and chase their dreams. In a world where we can often be intimidated by others' successes, each one of my peers chasing their goals holds me accountable in chasing my own.
How do you envision the future of our world?
My hope is that we find ourselves in a place where agreeing to disagree and listening is the status quo.
How do you create your content?
Generally, it is just me, myself, and I - with my phone, tripods, ring lights, and timers.
Why should people join the Wolfpack?
If you are in a place right now where you are trying to build a community or surround yourself with forward thinkers who are making a conscious choice to create a larger impact (in small or big ways) in the world around us - join us to #makesustainabilitysexy
