The Fashion Merchandising Intern: 

The purpose of this position will be to support our wholesale department and our customers by providing exceptional customer service to retain relationships and sales, help manage/onboard accounts, problem resolution, prospect accounts & potential partnerships and assist with minimal product development and graphic design/marketing projects. This person should be sociable and comfortable in sales in order to communicate effectively with Wolven’s accounts. Prospecting often includes cold calls, calling customers weekly to check in, email follow-ups, scheduling appointments,visiting boutiques, organizing and keeping up to date the sample set collection, etc.


Major Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, yet other duties may be assigned. As a small team, working at Wolven means being willing to step outside of your job description.

  • Onboarding new drop ship accounts
  • Updating our wholesale website collection weekly
  • Assist with merchandising our showroom/sample set collection
  • Create suggestive assortment plans to wholesale accounts
  • Reach out to new potential customers
  • Respond to emails
  • Wholesale account customer service
  • Reach out to prospective accounts via email, phone call, appointments 
  • Create wholesale marketing campaigns
  • Assist with an organized plan for the wholesale department
  • Create PO invoices for wholesale customers
  • Assist with description copy for collections on our marketplace platforms
  • Overall account management, including but not limited to selling in seasonal product, sales tracking, order entry and account development
  • Optimize the combination of email and outbound call activity

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Passionate about sustainability and fashion
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field
  • Familiar with G-Suite 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a retail or sales environment
  • Photoshop experience 
  • Savvy writing proficiency and verbal communication skills
