Cute and decadent, these little treats are truly bliss. Packed with healthy fats, adaptogens, and CBD, these bliss balls are going to be your new favorite treat to share with friends old and new.
What in the world is CBD?
You may have been hearing this trending word buzzing around and for a good reason! CBD or Cannabidiol is a hemp-derived substance that is non-psychoactive, unlike its counterpart THC. Both CBD and THC are two cannabinoids (out of 100 total) that the cannabis plant produces. These cannabinoids found in cannabis actually help support a system within your body known as the endocannabinoid system. This endocannabinoid system in your body is responsible for making sure every system in your body is in perfect balance known as homeostasis. On its own, our bodies naturally produce two endo-cannabinoids but sometimes we can be deficient and need a little help from our friends (hello cannabis).
Since CBD is hemp-derived, it is legal in most states and is non-psychoactive. Rather you get all the calming benefits from cannabis without actually feeling high. CBD is great at easing anxiety, aid in sleep, and is a powerful anti-inflammatory substance. One of my favorite hemp-derived CBD oils that is available is The Daily Hit by Cap Beauty because it also comes infused with Red Reishi, Schisandra Berry, Mucuna Puritans, and Sea Pearl.
The best time to enjoy these bliss balls is unwinding from hours spent dancing on a dusty dance floor. The CBD in this snack aids in muscle and joint relaxation all while helping you calm down into a blissful state.
