Meet our Wolf of the Month for March — Danielle Dodson. Danielle is an active ambassador in the Wolven community and dedicated to sustainability in all aspects of life — at home and in nature.

Where are you from, where do you live, and what do you do?

I grew up in a small town in the Central Valley of California. I currently live in Alameda, CA. I am a Special Education teacher for K-2 students with moderate to severe needs. It’s important to teach the future of our world. I am also working towards my Master's of Science in School Psychology. During the pandemic, I was able to work on my Inferno Hot Pilates certification and 200 Hour YTT.

What led you to join the Wolfpack?

I have been supporting Wolven for a few years and I have shown many of my close friends how much I love the brand. I decided to join the Wolfpack to make more of an impact.

What’s the best part about being a Wolven Ambassador for you?

I love meeting others with similar interests, creating new content, and being able to promote a brand that I truly love.

What is your favorite print and/or style?

How do I pick a favorite? I might have to say my favorite print is Fauna. I love wearing the bell bottoms and joggers. My two go-to, work-from-home pants lately.

How does wearing Wolven make you feel?

Wearing Wolven makes me feel confident, beautiful, and empowered knowing that my clothing choice is one small step to saving Mother Earth. I feel comfortable in my clothing choice, in turn that makes me feel comfortable in my own skin.

What does sustainability mean to you?

Sustainability means making mindful choices in our daily life. Each small change can and will make a big impact on saving our world. A few examples that I’ve tried adopting are using bamboo toothbrushes, utilizing reusable make up rounds, gardening, shopping sustainable companies, carrying reusable water bottles and straws — keeping the ocean plastic free.

When or where do you feel most connected to nature?

I feel most connected to nature when I am without phone service. I live in the moment, which means sometimes I don't capture the memory. I love to go hiking. There's something about being surrounded by tall trees that makes you and your problems minuscule. Fun fact: my hometown is considered the "Gateway to Yosemite". If you've never gone, definitely put it on your list. It's a must-see. You will be in awe.

What inspires you?

My surroundings usually inspire me. The energy of the environment is so important for me. The ability to gain knowledge is another thing that inspires me. We all have the opportunity to never stop learning.

How do you envision the future of our world?

This past year has been very eventful and I want to envision that we unite together for the sake of humanity.

How do you create your content?

I create content with my phone or camera. Then I do a tiny bit of editing with Lightroom.

Why should people join the Wolfpack?

People should join the Wolfpack because it's an amazing group of individuals that support each other. Everyone I have met through the Wolfpack is kind, caring, compassionate towards each other, themselves, and Mother Earth.

Danielle is a true inspiration to the Wolven community and actively sets a positive example for her fellow ambassadors. Follow along @deeedod to see her adventures in nature and sustainability.
