Travel Tuesday: Gingerhill Farms, Hawaii
When people ask us what kind of farm we have we say, “...An everything farm.” By this we mean that we try to grow everything that we like to eat and use that does well at our latitude. We have a little bit of everything as opposed to a lot of any one thing. We are structured for self-sufficiency and education as opposed to production and try to use most of what we grow here on site.
Elements Of A Summer Road Trip with Wild & Free Corina
A couple of weeks back, I packed up my bags and hit the road with the intent of traveling from my home in California to the Grand Tetons National Park in Wyoming. Along for the journey came my friend Vanessa Aristide and Wolven Threads’ new line of Modal clothing. With only a week of travel time, we were in for a whirlwind of an adventure.
I started this trip with the natural elements behind each Wolven Threads design at the forefront of my mind as before leaving Santa Barbara, I spoke with Kiran about the intent behind each graphic and its link to either the Fire, Earth, Water or Wind element.
3 Ways to Get Grounded at LiB
Lightning in a Bottle holds a sweet and sacred place in my heart. It was the first conscious festival I ever attended, it was the place of Wolven's first festival photoshoot, and the place that Will and I told each other we loved each other for the first time. Beyond being a truly special place to me on a personal level, we at Wolven love all that LIB has to offer – from being a pioneer in spreading sustainability in the festival community to hosting vegan cooking workshops and an array of yoga classes, LIB offers many opportunities to learn and get grounded. Extra hot temperatures and long nights on the dance floor can be exhausting, but LIB is full of Yoga & Wellness programming that will ensure that you are your best self throughout the festival.
