Part fairy, part unicorn, this babely LA based model is anything but ordinary. You can find her grooving at festivals all summer, or at home brewing kombucha. River has recently started producing some amazing videos as well, many focusing on empowering other females. sland girls are known for having a carefree spirit and a fresh nature about them and Nicole Pagan is no exception. Native to Puerto Rico, this talented beauty has successfully followed her passion in the creative arts. With a bachelor’s in Photography from Boston University, Nicole has had her amazing work featured in international magazines like Elle USA and Elle China, Nylon Japan, and Vogue Italia. She users her photography and her platform to inspire other female artists and creators. #Girlbyagirl is an Instagram and Tumblr movement Nicole founded that features female artists from around the world, encouraging you to support your local girl gang. One look at her own Instagram @leavesyoubreathless will get you right on that girl gang train. Light and airy photos of mega babes fill her feed and leave you with a feeling of warmth and liveliness. Nicole is the definition of “babes shooting babes.”

The Pacific Northwest breeds a certain type of human. I may be biased, but there is something about the fresh crisp air, new snow falls, hidden hiking trails, secret precious swimming holes, the calming plethora of creeks and lakes, giant mountains that are surrounding and all encompassing; essentially the essence of growing up in the thick of nature that really changes a person. Growing up there is like being born into the wild, giving a lot of Upper Left Coasters a crazy imagination and a wild heart. That is true through and through for this inspiring woman, for she is the essence of being wild and free. She swims through life with ease and hops from one plane to the other in search of adventure. Our #WCW this week is a true Oregonian, talented photographer, and uber adventurous chick, Eve Hess.

The Coconut Collective

If you're like me, coconut is an integral part of your everyday routine. I use the oil in almost all of my vegan recipes, lather it in my dry surfer hair and on my dehydrated skin, hydrate my body with coconut water after a yoga session or hot day, use it in oil and lotion form for medicinal purposes and eat it in every form possible because its that delicious. I see girls on Instagram living that island life and posting photos drinking coconut water out of whole coconuts, or lathering themselves in coconut bronzing lotion to bake like potatoes on the beach and think to myself "I'm not that basic" -- but I am and we all should be! Coconut is a miracle blessed upon us by mother earth and I am about to give you some reasons why we should all give into the coconut craze.
